Full Day

MOUNT AUGUSTUS

$755 Adult* (includes picnic lunch) - minimum 2 adults or equivalent.
Children half price - if minimum numbers are met.
*Discounts of at least 25% available for groups of 3 or more

Mount Augustus is the world’s largest rock – more than twice the size of Uluru.

The flight out crosses the magnificent Kennedy Ranges as well as rugged cattle station country.

When booking, choose whether to land at Mount Augustus Station or nearby Cobra Station. Up to 5 hours free time at either location.

Mount Augustus Station: Your aircraft taxis off the end of the runway, round the cattle yards and up to the station’s outbuildings to park – a real taste of the Aussie outback. Your pilot then escorts you to the holiday park for a cool drink. The Park Management will tell you all about the area and you can make arrangements for them to take you to one of the interesting sites: ancient Aboriginal rock carvings which testify to indigenous occupation of the area for millennia, or the idyllic, shady billabong known as Cattle Pool.

Cobra Station: Here you can make arrangements for a 4WD drive tour right round the rock, visiting several Aboriginal rock carving sites and Cattle Pool. The tour price is $100 per person (own cost).
